EAST - Essential Autonomous Struggles Transnational is an emerging transnational network of radical leftist and feminist activist collectives comprised mostly of women, migrants and workers.
The network was born in 2020 out of the struggles on social reproduction triggered by the pandemic crisis. As the acronym EAST suggests, it has Eastern and Central Europe as its main focus but looks at this territory as a part of a transnational field of struggle. The network aims to connect new and old struggles against exploitation, patriarchal violence and racism and to build a common space of organizing overcoming single issue initiatives and borders.
